Borderlands is easily one of my favorite games of 2009, which means a lot coming from someone who doesn’t really enjoy first person shooters. Around time of release, Gearbox Software (located a few minutes away in Plano) announced they were holding a release party open to the public at the Granada Theater in Dallas. Mix Master Mike was there, and there were playable demos, and each attendee got a free shirt and mousepad. I really do regret not staying too long, but whatever. Here’s hoping they do the same thing for Borderlands 2.
